Flower Bouquet Making Event at the Garden at Daggett Farm
The Flower Arrangement event this past Saturday, September 17th 2022 was a huge success, far surpassing even our highest expectations! We are so grateful for all the attendees, partners, and volunteers, thank you.
Attendees made their own floral bag arrangement using cut flowers, greens, and herbs and finished off with a bow to take home. They also made their own aromatherapy sachets, asked, gardening questions at the URI Master Gardener Kiosk, and brought soil samples to get their soil tested.
The Friends of Daggett Farm is a group of volunteer URI Master Gardeners working to save the therapeutic horticultural garden. Our mission is to protect, maintain, and improve our therapeutic garden so we can provide accessible and educational activities for people of all ability levels.
We continue to work on the garden’s future programming, so sign up for our email list to stay in the loop. If you have access needs that aren’t being met, ideas for programs you’d like to participate in, or interest in volunteering we would love to hear from you - you can reach us at FriendsOfDaggettFarm@gmail.com. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. The Garden at Daggett Farm belongs to all of us, and we want to ensure it stays that way for years to come.
